Through the initiative of the Waikato Winter Show Association, special school lunch bags, bearing a diet guide for children and suggestions for lunches, will be issued free throughout Waikato schools. A suggestion is to be made to the Minister for Education (the Hon. P. Fraser) that when the association’s 50,000 bags are exhausted the scheme should be adopted by the department for schools throughout New Zealand.
