THE E IFF ELTON DISTRICT. LANDOWNERS TO MEET. To consider what steps, if any, should be taken to deal with the flooding of farm lands in the Eiffelton, Lowcliffe, Coldstream, and surrounding districts, a meeting of land occupiers in the areas affected by the Ashburton Comity Council, will be held at Eiffelton next Wednesday. The meeting will be attended by Mr T. D. Burnett, M.P., Messrs H. J. Crothers (chairman), W. G. Gallagher, S. P. Taylor, and H. C. 11. Withell, of the Ashburton County Council, and members of the council’s staff.
