COMPETITIONS IN ASHBURTON JUNIOR MATCHES PLAYED. j The junior competition of the MidCanterbury Lawn Tennis Sub-Associa-tion Avas started on Saturday. The courts were in fair order. Fairton had a win by a good margin over Ashburton, and Baring Square narrowly beat Te Marne. The .senior competition will open next Saturday. TE MARAE V. BARING SQUARE (To Marae names first).
