BRITISH SHIP BURNED.
FATAL FIRE AT MARSEILLES. t (United Press Association —Copyright) PARTS, Nov. 5. One person is dead and several wore injured as the result of a fire which destroyed the British vessel Stanburgh at .Marseilles. The crew of the vessel are safe. Casualties occurred among the crew of a. lighter to which the fire spread after an explosion in its cargo of petrol which was ready for shipment to Barcelona. The lighter’s crew jumped overboard. Ono is missing and five are in hospital. The Stanburgh was towed away and run aground outside the harbour where it burned all night.
