The Warsaw correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that inspired Press comment declares that the demand for Polish-Hungarian frontiers will be again Raised. HUNGARY’S NEW TERRITORY. J INDIRECT GAIN FOR ITALY. ", LONDONp";Nov. 3. By the German and Italian arbitra-tors-.agreement in the dispute between Huhgaiy and Czechoslovakia, Hungary obtains an area of 4000 square miles, with a popultiori of 86,000. The award is regarded as a victory for Hungary, and indirectly for Italy, which backed Hungary’s claims. Germany wanted Czechoslovakia to keep the maximum amount of territory, because she now regards Czechoslovakia as a German protectorate. The new frontier seriously hinders communication between Slovakia and Ruthenia, because the principal railways pass through Kosice and Muracevo, towns in the areas ceded to Hungary.
YUGOSLAVIA AND RUMANIA. RESISTANCE TO REVISION. BELGRADE, November 4. Prince Paul, First Regent of Yugoslavia, has gone to Bucharest to attend King Carol’s shooting party. It is believed that the i*eal reason for bis visit is to discuss Avith King Carol resistance to frontier revision. and Rumania have big Hungarian minorities and apparently fear that Hungary may press a claim to them iaoav that she has triumped over the Czechs.
