AUCKLAND STRIKE
EMPLOYEES AT GLASS WORKS. TOTAL OF 150 MEN INVOLVED. m DELAY AT OBTAINING AWARD. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. One hundred and fifty members of the Auckland Glass Workers’ Union struck this morning as a protest against being unable to obtain a fixture for the hearing of their claims for an Arbitration Court award. The men had been advised by the Court that they could not obtain a fixture for six months. The workers on strike, are mostly employees of the Australian Glass Manufacturers’ Company, Ltd., Penrose.
