SET-BACK IN TRADE.
EFFECT OF CRISIS ON GERMANY. BERLIN, October 31. Foreign trade figures show that Germany suffered a serious set-back in the recent crisis. Exports to Europe, January to September, decreased by more than 0 per cent.., and exports to countries oversea by nearly 12 per cent. Trade slackened notably with Britain, France, Russia, Belgium, United States, Holland, Switzerland, and Czechoslovakia.
