LODGE MEETING.

METHVEN ODDFELLOWS. The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Methven Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., was presided over by the N.G. (Sister A. McClea), and there was a good attendance. The Loyal Ashburton Lodge and the Loyal Pioneer Lodge paid official visits.

Sick pay amounting to £9 13s 4d was passed for payment in favour of five menjbers. The quinquennial valuation of the district was presented by Bro. A. L. Mangin, P.G.M. Bjro. F. Pritchard (Ashburton) later giving a short address qn the report. He advised the Lodge to set up a committee to go into the matter.

After Lodge business was concluded supper was served.
