The Wellington Trotting Club’s October meeting was held to-day at Hutt Park in fine weather. ‘After overnight rain the track was on comparatively good condition. There was an excellent attendance and speculation was brisk, the totalisator turnover being £29,256, compared with £24,331 10s on the corresponding meeting last year, an increase of £4924 10s.
