STEELE EEATS YOURIST. AUCKLAND, Alay 30. Ray Steele, one of the foremost wrestlers in the world, made his first appearance in New Zealand in a match to-night when he defeated Abo Yourist in the fifth round, the latter being unable to continue after being picked up and slammed. Tourist opened this round with two flying tackles, which his opponent followed by the application of a toehold, out of which Yourist kicked himself. During the interval between the rounds and for some time afterwards, Tourist writhed on the floor, holding his head. The application of wet sponges failed to revive him, and after the referee had declared Steele the winner Yourist received medical attention. He was able to leave for his dressing-room, where he made a speedy recovery.
