PERSONAL.
Mr S. S. Millington (Comptroller of Stores in the Railways Department) has retired on superannuation and will be succeeded by Mr P. M. Muir, w r ho has been Assistant Comptroller for the last five years. In making the announcement the Minister of Railways (the Hon. D. G. Sullitan) extends the thanks of the Government and himself as Minister for the excellent work of Mr Millington as Comptroller, and also for his good work as chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Stores Control Board (says a Press Association telegram from Wellington).
