DAIRYMEN FINED.
MILK NOT UP TO TEST. TROUBLE WITH COOLING AIETHODS. (Per Press Association.) GREYAIOUTH, This Day. In the Alagistrate’s Court five daymen were each fined £5 for selling milk which did not comply with the reductase test.
The evidence showed that there had not been ain r adulteration, the trouble apparently being in the cooling methods used.
The defendants were Baty Bros., Alichael Keeney, Alichael Alinehan, Thomas Eugene Shannahan and Lawrence Taylor.
