MR R. G. MENZIES. LONDON, May 8. The “Sunday Times” says that the Menzies, is among the Empire’s first six speakers, and will inevitably eventually become Prime Minister of the Commonwealth. The paper remarks a similarity between Mr Menzies, and the late Lord Birkenhead. Mr Menzies, it says, possesses the same intellectual cffronteiy, which he expresses with an irony that is saved from being offensive bv its charming courtliness. “His heart is in Australia, but his spiritual home possibly in London,” adds the “Sunday Times.”
