Mr John Bathgate, of Ashburton, has been re-appointed the Automobile Association’s regresehtativo on the Peel Forest Board.
The following appointments to school staffs in the Ashburton County were confirmed by the Canterbury Education Board yesterday:—Ashburton, Mr L. J. Sutton; Carew, Miss G. L. Biddle; Wiilowby, Mr H. I'. Turnbull; iSouthbridge District High School, Mr C ; . A. Innes. The following resignations were received and accepted :—Ashburton, Mr R. A. Young; Mount- Somers, Miss K. Labatt.
