NEGRO WOMAN ENGAGED. MAID FROM WHITE HOUSE. WASHINGTON, January 6. Motion pictures have invaded the White House for talent. Elizabeth McDuffie, a buxom negro maid, has been selected for the role of Mammy in the film version of Margaret Mitchell’s novel, “Gone With the Wind.” Recently, the White House kitchen staff staged a play.
