REFUELLING IN AIR.
BRITISH TESTS SUCCESSFUL. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, January 20. Sir Alan Cobham is co-operating in a series of tests for refuelling aeroplanes in the air. These are being carried out over Southampton with the' Empire flying-boat Cambria. According to reports, when the flying speed is approaching 150 miles an hour the Cambria is refuelled from a. lowwinged monoplane flying above her, the petrol being pumped into her tanks through a special pipe line lowered from the monoplane. It is understood that the trials are proving very successful. —British Ufficinl Wireless.
