M. Emile Cohl, aged 81, the inventor of the coloured cinematograph cartoons which have been perfected by Walt Disney, has died in poverty and obscurity in the Public Hospital.
THE REV. DINSDALE YOUNG. (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) . LONDON, January 21. The death has occured of the Rev. Dinsdale Young, who estimated that he had preached 30,000 sermons. WILL DYSON, CARTOONIST. (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, January 21. Mr Will Dyson, the cartoonist, is dead. Peaceful heart failure in his sleep was the cause of Dyson’s death. He was painting in his studio in the morning, and was found dead in an armchair in the afternoon. His spectacles were on his forehead.
