FILM CANCELLED.
“INSIDE NAZI GERMANY.” OBJECTIONS BY CONSULS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) NEW YORK, January 20. A fierce controversy is raging over the showing of the film “March of Time—lnside Nazi Germany, 1938.” Many theatres have cancelled their showings after protests from German Consuls on the ground that it was most unfriendly toward Germany. Crowds booed, jeered, and exchanged remonstrances in other theatres where the film was shown. The commentator’s dialogue is considered to be especially objectionable.
