PROPOSED DUTIES.
AUSTRALIAN MANUFACTURES. (United Press Association-Copyright.) SYDNEY, . This Day. It was stated on behalf of manufacturers that the Federal Government had not consulted them about the proposal of the New Zealand Government to impose heavier tariff duties on a number of Australian imports. Manufacturers who export goods embraced in the Dominion’s tariff proposals said they would be seriously affected.
