NEGOTIATIONS FOR DISPOSAL. NOT PAYING HER WAY. ‘ (Per Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. After a delay of three days, the steamer Tees will sail for the Chatham Islands to-night. A representative of the owners said to-day that the company was negotiating for the sale of the vessel, as she was not paying her way, working open roadstead ports at the Chathams. This entailed heavy overtime and five or six members of the crew drew', with overtime, higher wages than the master. Until the deal is completed, the Tees would maintain tho Islands service.
