THE CARNIVAL AT SYDNEY.

SYDNEY, This Day. The Australian bowling carnival was resumed yesterday, after overnight
rain, in sultry .weather, with the playoff by sectional winners in the tours championships. Forty-six fours were eligible, including two New Zealand rinks, both of whom were beaten.
At the city green, Wilkinson’s rink \(New Zealand) was defeated 17-12 by a rink from Orange (New South Wales) and, skippered by Curran, who is a leading State player. At Waverley, Robertson's rink (New Zealand) went down 20-9 to a Victorian four led by Crocker. Later Curran’s rink was eliminated 17-16, and Crocker’s rink won 13-11.
