In the Sheffield Shield match against New South Wales, South Ausr tralia (first 187) in the second innings made 334 (Bradman 104 not out). The wicket-keeper Walker did not hat owing to injury to his finger. O’Brien took three wickets for 90; O’Reilly, four for 65.
New Suth Wales (first 295) in their second innings scored 227 for six (Fingleton 74, McCabe 69, Barnes 21, Ohipperfield 30). Waite took three wickets for 55 runs.
New South Wales won by four wickets.
Bradmap, who substituted for Walker, caught out three batsmen.

TRIAL MATCH IN WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON, January 19. The New Zealand women's cricket team which will leave for Sydney tomorrow night to play a series of matches in New South Wales had a useful final practice at the Basin Reserve to-day when they met a team representing the Wellington Women’s Cricket Association. .
