SPORTS ATTRACTIONS.
FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW. SUMMER RACE MEETING. A full list of sporting events will take place to-morrow, including the Ashburton County Racing Club’s summer meeting, and cricket and tennis competition matches. Race Meetjing. The Ashburton County Racing Club’s summer meeting will begin at 12.20 p.m. A special train'- service has been arranged for the meeting. Tennis Competitions. The second round of the Mid-Canter-bury Lawn Tennis Sub-Association’s competition will be played. The senior game is Ashburton v. Allenton, at Ashburton. The junior games are: Baring Square v. Fairton; Allenton v. Te Marae; Methven v. Ashburton B. Cricket Competitions. The competitions of the Ashburton County Cricket Association will be continued. Senior grade matches are as follow: Ivia Ora v. Old Boys, at Kia Ora; Ashburton v. Fairfield, on the Oval; Public Works Irrigation v. Technical, at Technical. The junior matches are: Lauriston v. Methven; Public Works Irrigation v. Kia Ora; Technical v. Tinwald; Old Boys v. Coldstream.
