PROVISION OF TWO VESSELS. NEGOTIATIONS FOR FINANCE. (United Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) will make a statement, when Parliament meets next week, that negotiations •will be discussed for an agreement between British, Australian, New Zealand and Canadian Governments for the provision of finance to build two new ships to carry the British flag in the Pacific. Earlier in the week it was announced that disagreements between certain parties had reduced the whole of the proposals to the melting-pot. Mr Lyons stated last night that progress was now being made in reconciling the parties and the outlook for an ultimate agreement were better, but much remained to be adjusted.
