BRITAIN’S STAND UNCHANGED. NO PAYMENT TENDERED. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) LONDQN, November 25. The “Daily Mail” says that the question of war debts will shortly be included' in the Anglo-American discussions. Meanwhile Britain.will on December 15 send the usual half-yearly note making no payment but renewing the offer of discussion of the whole problem. Supporters of the Government feel there should bo a final settlement. A REPORT IN WASHINGTON. WASHINGTON, November 24. The State Department would make no comment on a London newspaper report that Britain was prepared to repay her debt to America under terms revising the original settlement plan. The Department also refused to discuss reports that Britain and America had arranged to confer on the subject of debts immediately the trade agreement is signed.
