The Rome correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” states that the Austro-Italian commission has initialled a new economic agreement on currency for six months. Austria will lose the favourednation clauses for exports to Italy, which she and Hungary enjoyed under the Rome protocols of 1934. In the protocols Italy conceded much and received little.
