MINERS’ LIGHTNING STRIKES. United Press Association —Copyright.! LONDON, November 22. Damages ranging from 10s to £3 each were awarded at Doncaster against 1835 miners for breach of contract arising from lightning strikes. In respect to 1613 men it was stated that the men had objected to the owners moving the lamproom closer to the coalface, simplifying the working of the colliery. The arrangement inconvenienced no one. In consequence of the strikes, of which there bad been 57 yearly, the company lost an output of 13,600 tons.
