ARREST OF TERRORIST.
HIDING IN A WHEAT BIN. TRIAL BY MILITARY COURT. (United Press Association—Copyright) JERUSALEM, Nov. 22. Sheik Farhan Saadi, the terrorist leader, was run to earth dramatically near Jenin by a- detachment of the Second battalion.of the East Yorkshire Regiment, who scrambled up precipitous hills to reach the village where Saadi was hiding. The military surrounded the village under cover of a thunderstorm. The raid was a complete surprise. Saadi wa9 found hiding in a wheat bin in a house, armed with two revolvers, but he did not resist. Two members of his bodyguard and several villagers were arrested. Saadi will be tried by a military court at Haifa on Wednesday. This will be the first trial under the regulations, under which the officer commanding in Palestine is vested with complete powers over life and death, against which there is no appeal. It is expected that the summary procedure of the courts will have a sobering effect on gunmen in the Holy Land. The military authorities state that there will be no delay in carrying out the sentences.
