CHRISTCHURCH - TIMARU RACE. THE HANDICAPS. Eighty-three riders will take part in the cycle road race from Christchurch to Timaru on Saturday. The entrants include many leading wheelmen from the North Island: 1 The handicaps are:— Scr—L. G. Fleming (Ch-ch), H. C. Bayley (New Plymouth), D. A.\Swanston (Ch-ch), A. Clemence (Oh-ch), L. B. Carr (Ashburton), L. Dalheguy (Ch-ch), J. H. Newlove (Dunsandel). 15min—W. Allen (Ch-ch), R. Sutherland (Ch-ch), I. Sutherland (Ch-ch), L. R. Judkins (Ch-ch). 20min—R. E. Slack (Ch-ch), R. M. Stokes (Ch-ch), C. Coman (Ch-ch), G. R. McSaveney (Ch-ch). 25min—J. F. O’Reilly (Methven), E. C. Hall (Ch-ch), R. Johnstone (Ch-ch), C. Wood (Ch-ch), 0. B. Barr (Ch-ch).
