PERSONAL.
A motion of sympathy was accorded Mr G. Cartwright in the death of his daughter at the annual meeting of the Ashburton Swimming Centre last evening. Messrs A. N. Grigg and W. M. iSkevington judged the light horse and the milking shorthorn sections, tespectively, at the Little River Show yesterday.
