A REPORT DENIED.
PARACHUTE JUMP AT AUCKLAND (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 22. A report that after jumping from an aeroplane above the Auckland Domain on Saturday he narrowly escaped a crash through the glass roof in the Winter Garden was denied to-day by the parachutist, Mr G. W. Sellars. He said that the aeroplane was flying at about 2000 feet, and lie was capable of avoiding the glasshouse any time during his descent. “My landing on the thinly-wooded slope below the outer domain was made purposely,” said Mr Sellars. “Dense crowds on the banks and the centre of the ground made it seemingly impossible for me to land without injuring somebody. I was not injured in the slightest by the fall, which was one of tl\e lightest I have made.”
