PENDING LEGISLATION

SUPERANNUATION AND HEALTH.CONSIDERATION IN NEW YEAR. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) stated' to-day that Parliament would riot sit past December 10, and if it iwere possible to finish the business in hand before then the House would adjourn earlier. The most important part of the session would be after Christmas. They had a. good deal of preparation to make in respect to both superannuation and national health. These important matters would be dealt with either in one Bill or two, whichever was most practicable. Mr Savage added that he was not yet in a position to say which Bills would take precedence, but one important one would- involve consideration of, and certain amendments to, the existing land and income tax laws.
