THREE MEN INJURED IN CAR.
(Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, October 22. Three men were injured when a motor-ear skidded and crashed into a telegraph polo at Edendale to-night. They are:— Air Langford Joseph Williamson, service car driver, of Wyndham ; suffering from facial injuries, fractured ankle and shock. Air Thomas Holland, labourer, of Wyndham; facial injuries and shock. Air 1). AV. Walsh, of Wyndham; cuts and abrasions. Alessrs AVilliamson and Holland were taken by ambulance to the Gore Hospital, but their condition is not believed to be serious. The centre of the radiator struck the pole, which was broken in half. INJURIES PROVE FATAL. OAAIARU, This Day. Terence Gaiger, aged 21, of Dunedin, who was injured in a motor accident when returning from a boxing match at Oamaru on Tuesday night, died yesterday. The condition of P. Ruston, who was also injured in the accident, has slightly improved.
