Hi. F. Broadbent arrived at Lympno at 6.41 p.m. He thus lowered H. L. Brook’s record for a solo flight from Australia.
Broadbent said his flight was uneventful. The ’plane flew perfectly. His most anxious time was near Rangoon, when he encountered storms, which precede the monsoon.

Prince Constantin Cantacuzene, aged 27, of Rumania, who left Hatfield in an attempt on the England-Joliannes-burg and the England-Cape records, but made a forced landing at Algiers because of mechanical trouble, abandoned his flight at Bonless, in Southern Algeria., ~
