INTOXICATED IN CAR.
FINED £ls AND DELICENSED. .Per Press WELLINGTON, This Day. Francis Thomas McLoughlin, a labourer, aged 46, who was convicted of ai similar offence in 1932, was fined £ls at Lower Hutt to-day for intoxication while in charge of a car. His license was cancelled till the end. of May. Leaving a, party, defendant took the driver’s seat, despite the remonstrance of his friends, who warned him of the presence of a policeman. “ policeman,” he said as he took the seat, but the policeman stepped up and arrested him.
