PROPOSED AUSTRALIAN TOUR. AN INVITATION TO JAPAN. WELLINGTON, This Day. An invitation from Australia for a tour by a New Zealand hockey team lias been accepted, according to a letter received by the Executive Committee of the Wellington Hockey Association. Advice has also been received that an invitation is being sent to Japan for a team to tour New Zealand in 1938. Three clubs—Wesley, Wellington. and University—were suspended for failure to pay fees.
