ASHBURTON V. TIMARU. The following will represent the Ashburton Ladies’ Golf Club in a match against the Timaru Ladies’ Golf Club, at Ashburton, to-morrow: — Mrs J. Mcßae, Miss. j. Dunlop, Mrs R. Kennedy, Mrs E. B. Condell, Miss B. Morrow, Miss A. Amos, Mrs L. J. Watt, Mrs W. H. Mulligan, Miss B. Lane, Mrs G. I. Miller, Mrs J. Connor, Miss M. Findlay. Play will commence at 9.30 o’clock.

NEW ZEALANDERS IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, September 7. The New Zealand women’s golf team, which has returned from Adelaide, played an exhibition match on the Kensington links to-day. Misses Oliver Kay and, Jean Horwell played a four-ball against Mrs R. P. Fullerton-Smith and Miss P. Helean. A large crowd of associates followed the visitors. Misses Kay and Horwell won sup and 3. Miss Kay was out in 42, which is six over par, and home in 40, which is one over par. She could have done better, but wasted strokes after the match was won. Mrs Fuller-ton-Smith was out in 41 and Miss Horwell in 40. All the players are tired after their strenuous three weeks in Adelaide. Miss V. Fleming and Mrs M. H. Godby played a singles, the former returning a card of 82. The team will rest until Thursday, when they will return to New Zealand by the Marama.
