VERY DEAR FISH.
RECORD SCARCITY IN DUNEDIN. « (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. A record scarcity of fish has sent prices soaring. For a fortnight now fishermen have been shore-bound. Last week crayfish realised 36s a sack, as against the usual price of 17s, flounders were 9s dozen, against 3s 6d, soles 82s a case, against 30s, while even the despised red cod to-day realised 33s a case, against the usual 10s.
