WOOL FOR JAPAN.
BOYCOTT OF AUSTRALIAN SALES. CHANGE OF FRONT POSSIBLE. (United Press Association—Copyright.. LONDON, August 21. The “Financial News” says that though the consequences of Japanese non-participation in the Australian wool sales are not very clear, there is no reason at the moment to anticipate serious repercussions. “It is difficult to see how Japan’s action can permanently alter the world price structure. The facts suggest that Japan will not find the task of replacing Australian wool an easy one, and she may even be, forced to revoke her decision before the end of the sales.”
