THE NEW ZEALAND TEAM.
WELCOME AT THE VILLAGE.
MEALS WITH AUSTRALIANS. United Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 28. The Associated Press correspondent at Berlin says that the New Zealand team for the Olympic Games, led by Dr. E. A. Porritt, as manager, whom the Australian, Horsfall, is unofficially assisting, marched into the Olympic village to-night and received the customary military welcome. The' New Zealand team, including J. E. Lovelock, is too small to be allotted a special house, so it is being listed with the English team, having their meals with the Australians. LOVELOCK VERY FIT. BOOT AN UNCERTAIN FACTOR. WELLINGTON, This Day. A cablegram received by Mr Amos (secretary of the New Zealand Olympic committee), from Dr. Porritt in reference to the Olympic team, is as follows: Lovelock very fit condition. Boot and Matthews uncertain. Others very satisfactory. Team leaving London by the Rangitiki on September 17.
