ASHBURTON LADIES’ CLUB. Medal matches were played in drizzling rain by the Ashburton Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday. Mrs H. Thompson, 97-17-80, won the senior division. In the junior division Miss A. Amos, 97-20-77 and Mrs J. H. Grigg, 100-23-77 tied, Mrs Grigg winning on a count back over nine holes.
An all day eclectic match will be played to-morrow, players choosing their own scorers.
