TINWALD CHURCH.
— THE ANGLICAN CONGREGATION. MEETING OF THE* COMMITTEE. The St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Committee was held in the Parish Hall The vicar, the Rev. H. A. Childs presided, and there were present—Mesdames Brown, Sewell, and C. Bell, Misses Jennings, Brown, Clark, Gudseil, and Messrs J. Clark, R.' Gudsell, and M. P. Cooke (secretary). After consideration of methods of heating the church, it was decided to install a medium-sized coke heater near the middle of the church. The securing of the: heater was left in the hands of the secretary. The offer of the Ladies’ Guild for financial assistance for heating was gratefully received. It was resolved to give Mr and Mrs R. D. Robinson and family a social'in the Parish Hall on July 30. Arrangements were: left to a sub-committee. Messrs Rex Gudsell and Ron Hulme offered to undertake further socials, the proceeds to go towards the heating fund. , , , It was decided to procure a load ot shingle for the path round the Sunday School.
