Two special prizes and seven honourable mentions went to Australia and New Zealand today in the international competition by the New Historical Society of New York, the subject of the paper being: “How Can Youth develop Racial Harmony.” Special prizes of 50 dollars each were won by Miss Mary Sullivan Dru‘mmoyne: (New_South Wales) and lan Mackay of the Friendly Road Radio Station, Miss Grace Pinkard, .Brookvale (Sydney), the Rev. \Villiam McKay (Grange, South Australia), Kenr neth Melvin (Palmerston North, New Zealand), Miss Reda McKenzie, Outranr (Otago), Miss Barbara, Kerr (Otaika Valley, North Auckland), Miss Blanche Newman (North Croydon, Adelaide).
