CARELESS DRIVING.
MOTORISTS IN AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 14. There has been a great deal of careless driving by motorists in the Auckland Province during the Easter holir days, according to reports received today from the traffic inspectors, who were on duty on country highways. Many warnings were issued to drivers, and in some cases prosecutions will follow. “What came over the motorists, I don’t know,” states one inspector in his report, “but it is probable that one or two irresponsible persons started them off by. travelling over-fast at Christmas time. We did not .have half the trouble we have had during this Easter.”
