CHURCHES OF CHRIST.

THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE. (Special to the “ Guardian/’) INVERCARGILL, April 14. Saturday sessions of Churches of Christ Conference at Invercargill, were opened hy a devotional period in which Pastor J. Crawford gave i|i address on “The Church and Youth.” A report on Bible Schools and Youth Department work was received. In the afternoon, Pastor W. S. Lowe, of Greymouth, gave- an address on “The Church and Its Teaching.” Victoria Hall was taxed to its limits on Saturday evening when the youth demonstration of Churches of Christ Conference was held.

The Teviot School Chapel was crowded, on Sunday morning when the united Communion service was held. Professor E. P. Adern.an, 8.A., presided.

A Bible School demonstration was given in the afternoon. Again the chapel was inadequate for seating the large audience at the evening service, at which Professor Aderman presided.

A special train conveyed a large number of delegates and visitors to Bluff this morning where the conference picnic was held. The Christian. Women’s Auxiliaries of the -Churches of Christ held their conference in St. Peter’s Methodist Church on Thursday. Mrs Williamson, of Wellington (Dominion President) occupied the chair, and delegates from 20 auxiliaries were present. The Ashburton delegates to. the conference are Pastor W. E. Vickery, Mr V. Lovett and Mrs S. A. Buchler,
