THE ASHBURTON CLUB. PROGRESSIVE PAIRS' TOURNEY. A progressive pairs tournament was played on the Ashburton Bowling Club’s greens yesterday. . The winning skip was W. Acton, with four wins. A. The Easter howling tournament was concluded to-day. Page and Veitch (West Harbour) defeated Seelye and Davis (Kaituna) in the final of the pairs by 24 points to 10. In the singles, Claridge (Caledonian) defeated Bently (Dunedin), 23-8.
