TOURNAMENT AT NELSON. WON BY ASHBURTON PLAYER, The golf competitions at Nelson, played in conjunction with the Easter tournament, were won by L. E. Carter, of Ashburton. Details of games in which Carter took part are:—No. 7 Flight—Semifinal : Carter beat McKee. No. 8 Flight Second round: Carter beat Trent (Nelson). Semi-final: Carter beat Huggins. .3 and 2.
