EASTER IN RUSSIA.
A REVIVAL IN RELIGION. SIDE BY SIDE WITH MILITARY. fUnited Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, April 12. The Moscow correspondent of the ''Daily Telegraph” says that the Easter eve services in tho comparatively few churches that had been left open were crowded last night, a.s they have not been since the anti-religion campaign began. The revival of interest in religion indicates a general slackening of class war methods. Simultaneously with the tenth All Union Congress, the Young Communist League opened in the Grand Place of the Kremlin, the occasion being marked by extreme militancy. The League, which has more than 2,000,000 members, is being gradually dissociated from politics, but the military character has been intensified. Thus far 1,259,713 have passed the tests as snipers and J ,345,304. qualified in antigas work.
