PIGS and poultry. PRICES RULING TO-DAY. Prices at the weekly sales of pigs and poultry in Ashburton to-day were : Pigs—Baconers, £2 4s; sow in pig, £2 8s 6d; porkers, 33s 6d to 35s 6d; store pigs, 22s 6d to 27s 6d ; vveaners, 8s 6d to 18s 6d. Poultry—Hens, Is to 3s ; roosters, 4s Id; ducks, Is lOd per pair. FAIRTON property offered. A freehold property, consisting of 812 acres 3 roods 21 perches, situated at Fairton, was offered for sale by auction to-day by Messrs Pyne, Gould, Guinness under instructions from the executors of the estate of Mr M. P. Fox. The property included a sixroomed, homestead, and outhouses. The property was p.assed: in, the best bid working out at approximately £6 8s an acre.
