N.S.W. JUNIOR TOURNAMENT. NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES. SYDNEY, March 5. _ The New Zealand junior tennis players again had a successful day at the New South Wales junior championships. The results included:— Boys’ Singles (under 21) —J. W. Gunn (New Zealand) lost to Lindo, 4-6, 0-6; lb. G. Pattinson (New Zealand) beat W. Smith, 6-1, 6-0; Pattinson beat G. Plunkett, 6-4, 8-6; J. T. Mayson (New Zteahuid) lost Ito Gilchrist, 8-6, 0-6;, 1-6; I. J. Corich |(New Zealand) beat E. Willard, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4; A. D. Brown (New Zealand) beat G. Martin, 6-4, 6-2. Boys’ Doubles (under 21)—Gunn and
N. F. Bedford (New Zealand) lost to F. Bennett and W. Sidwell, 6-4, 1-6, 2-6. Mixed Doubles (under 21) —Brown and Miss T. Rice lost to G. Martin and Miss N. Vickery, 6-2, 4-6, 3-6; Pattinso'ii .and Miss C. Bubb won by default. Men’s Special Singles—Mayson beat G. Kendall, 6-2, 6-7, 6-4: Gunn beat A. Tuthill, 6-0, 6-1; Corich beat R. Franki, 6-2, 6-1. Men’s Special Doubles—Bedford and Gunn beat H. Betts and J. Rodgers, 6-4, 6-4. Boys’ Singles (under 17)—S. Painter (New Zealand) won by default.
